A hard training session can leave you feeling productively worked - or unusually sore, stiff and flat for days. The difference matters. Supplements for inflammation after exercise may support comfort and recovery when used thoughtfully, but they cannot replace adequate training load, sleep, nutrition or assessment of an injury. Timing and context matter. Tart cherry is often used for several days before and after an endurance event or unusually demanding session, rather than only once pain has peaked. For everyday training, it may be less essential than consistently eating enough carbohydrate, protein and colourful plant foods.

Boswellia serrata, commonly known as Indian frankincense, contains boswellic acids that have been researched for joint comfort and inflammatory processes.
